**Day 1 Itinerary: Heritage Bicycle Tour**
The day begins with an early arrival at the camp, where you can freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast to prepare for the adventure ahead. Afterward, we embark on an exciting heritage bicycle tour through the ancient ruins of Hampi, starting at the renowned **Virupaksha Temple**. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Virupaksha is one of the oldest temples in India, dating back to the 7th century, and is known for its towering gopuram and rich history.
From there, we proceed to the **Krishna Temple**, built by King Krishnadevaraya in 1513 to commemorate his victory over Udayagiri. The temple is famous for its stunning architecture and intricately carved pillars that showcase the artistic brilliance of the Vijayanagara Empire.
Next, we visit the **Sasivekalu Ganesha** and **Kadlekalu Ganesha**, two impressive monolithic statues of Lord Ganesha. Sasivekalu Ganesha, named after the mustard seed due to its shape, stands at a height of 8 feet, while Kadlekalu Ganesha, named after a Bengal gram, is a towering 14-foot statue, both representing the craftsmanship of the era.
Following these visits, we stop by the **Badavalinga Temple**, home to the largest Linga in Hampi, carved out of a single black stone. Nearby is the **Lakshmi Narasimha Temple**, which houses the massive 6.7-meter-tall statue of Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This temple is a major highlight, known for its striking figure of the deity seated in a yogic posture.
After soaking in the beauty of these magnificent structures, we break for a peaceful picnic lunch amid a banana plantation, providing a serene environment within the ruins.
Post-lunch, the bicycle ride continues with a visit to the grand **Vittala Temple**, famous for its stone chariot and musical pillars. The temple complex is considered the epitome of Vijayanagara architecture. We also explore the **King’s Balance**, where kings were weighed against gold or grain to be distributed to the poor, and **Sugriva’s Cave**, believed to be where Sugriva hid the jewels of Sita in the Ramayana. The final stop is the **Achyutaraya Temple**, a lesser-visited yet equally spectacular temple that offers a quiet, mystical ambiance.
As the day draws to a close, we gather to witness a breathtaking sunset over the ruins, painting the ancient landscape in warm hues. Afterward, we return to the camp for a cozy evening around a bonfire, followed by a delicious dinner and team-led games, providing a perfect end to a day rich in history and adventure.

The second day of the adventure begins early with an offbeat sunrise hike. This hike will take you through less-explored trails, offering breathtaking views of the Hampi landscape as the first rays of sunlight cast a golden glow over the ancient ruins and boulder-strewn terrain. The peaceful and serene environment at dawn makes this hike an unforgettable experience.
After soaking in the views, we return to the campsite to freshen up and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The meal will recharge you for the rest of the day's activities.
Following breakfast, we head to Sanapur Lake, located in the outskirts of Hampi, for some water-based adventures. Here, you can indulge in an exciting coracle ride, a traditional circular boat experience that offers scenic views of the lake and surrounding landscapes. For the more adventurous, there is an opportunity for cliff jumping, depending on availability and safety conditions. These activities are self-sponsored, giving participants the freedom to opt-in as per their preferences.
After the morning's adventure, we take a break for lunch at the charming Whispering Rocks Café (or a similar café), where you can enjoy some delicious local or continental cuisine. The café offers a laid-back atmosphere amidst nature, making it a great place to unwind and share stories from the trip. Lunch is self-sponsored, allowing participants to choose from a variety of dishes.
Once rested, we set off for a scenic sunset hike to Sri Bala Anjaneya Temple. Perched atop a hill, this temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and offers panoramic views of the Hampi landscape, particularly captivating during sunset. The temple is also believed to be the birthplace of Hanuman, making it a spiritually significant stop on the itinerary.
As the day winds down, we make a stop at Hospet for dinner. This stop is self-sponsored, and you can explore the local cuisine, enjoying a final meal before the journey back to Bangalore.
After dinner, we begin our return journey, with an expected arrival in Bangalore by approximately 5:00 AM the following morning, marking the end of an adventurous and culturally enriching trip to Hampi.
