Last weekend, Plan The Unplanned had organized their first Travelers\u2019 Meet and it was one amazing event. For two hours, all that was discussed was related to traveling – how people look at it, what are their constraints, how they plan their vacations and sort their budget etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Being travelers, we all know that it\u2019s not as smooth a cakewalk as it appears from outside. Like every other task, traveling also comes with a lot of challenges. Being millennials, we all dream to explore more and more places but often we have to look back for living up to the realities. But does that mean we should box up our wanderlust bugs? – Well, not really!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When asked about the two major constraints that stop people from traveling, almost everyone agreed that it\u2019s money and the Corporate Leave Policies that becomes a barrier! And when given the choice of budget traveling with endless holidays, people said that they have responsibilities towards their family which often pulls them back. Quite evidently, it can be said that traveling in India hasn\u2019t still gained the pace like in most Western nations.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nonetheless, the scenario is changing. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There were quite a few women who joined us that evening and they all opened up about the safety issues. While a lot of things are easier for men, women usually have to be a little more careful when it comes to traveling. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There were people who have been traveling for 5 – 6 years now, and they have managed their expenses beautifully. They appeared to be the happiest people in the lot. Their stories were unmatchable and they helped others dream bigger!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Surprising, there was no clear answer about \u2018Which is the safest place in India for women travelers?\u2019 A long debate and discussion failed to fetch a solution – so, if you, dear reader, have an answer, let us know in the comment box about your opinion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women, however, agreed that they mostly depend on their conscience and instincts while traveling, in order to be safe.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One of the friends shared his experience of traveling to Cambodia and how the safety situations are there. Being an underdeveloped country, there are severe problems when fraud takes the tourists to fake embassies, asking them to pay a heavy sum of money, and he shared how he kept himself safe in spite of the hassles that came his way.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The conclusion is – if you know the right moves, you can surely return back safely, without falling into a trap!<\/span><\/p>\n
