Upon arrival in Hanoi, a local driver and guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, visit Train Street, one of Hanoi’s most famous and unique attractions. A visit to Ninh Binh is a must when exploring northern Vietnam. This province, often referred to as "Halong Bay on Land," is known for its breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and serene countryside. The lush Tam Coc rice fields surrounding the Ngo River are particularly stunning at the end of May or the beginning of June.

Itinerary:

08:00 AM – Depart from Hanoi as our tour guide picks you up from the hotel. Travel approximately 120 km to Ninh Binh Province.

10:00 AM – Take a short 20-minute break to relax before continuing the journey.

11:30 AM – Visit Hoa Lu, the first capital of Vietnam, where you will explore the temples of King Dinh and King Le, built in the 17th century. Discover the fascinating history of Vietnam’s ancient rulers and why the capital was later moved to Hanoi.

12:00 PM – Enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant.

01:00 PM – Experience the charm of Tam Coc with a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride along the Ngo River, passing through picturesque rice fields and an impressive limestone cave system.

03:30 PM – Visit Mua Cave, a popular hiking spot that offers a panoramic view of Tam Coc and the surrounding countryside.

04:00 PM – Return to Hanoi via shuttle bus.

08:00 AM – Pickup from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter by private car and tour guide.

08:45 AM – Depart for Halong Bay, a scenic 2.5-hour drive through the Vietnamese countryside.

10:30 AM – Stop at Hai Duong Province for a 20-minute refreshment break.

11:30 – 12:00 PM – Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, the gateway to Halong Bay.

Upon arrival, board the Dragon Bay Cruise, where you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink. After meeting the captain and crew, receive a safety briefing before setting sail through the breathtaking limestone islands of Halong – Lan Ha Bay.

  • 01:00 PM – Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch while cruising past iconic rock formations such as Con Vit Islet (Duck Islet), Thumb Islet, and Gia Luan Harbor in the Cat Ba region.

In case a particular service is unavailable at the time of booking, we will provide suitable alternatives for your consideration.

Airport Pick-Up and Drop-Off (Between 21:00 – 07:00)

For late-night or early-morning transfers, a supplemental fee will apply:

  • Guide service: USD 25
  • Vehicle charges:
    • USD 15 for a 4-7 seater car
    • USD 20 for a 15-seater van
    • USD 30 for a 24-seater minibus or larger

Tour Schedule and Additional Charges

Our guides and vehicles will operate strictly as per the confirmed itinerary, with standard sightseeing hours from:

  • 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM or 08:30 AM – 05:30 PM
  • Dinner service is scheduled within 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (or 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM) and includes pick-up and drop-off from your hotel.

For additional time beyond the scheduled hours, the following overtime charges apply:

  • USD 30 per hour (4-7 seater car)
  • USD 40 per hour (15-seater minivan)
  • USD 55 per hour (24-seater minibus and above)

If you would like extended sightseeing or dinner arrangements, kindly inform us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements and include the relevant costs.

For any lunch or dinner not included in the itinerary, travelers will need to arrange their own meals, as these will not be accompanied by a guide or vehicle.
