Himachal is India's outdoor adventure playground with its breathtaking snow-capped peaks and deep river valleys. If everything can be done in the mountains, it can be done here, from trekking to skiing, to rafting, and paragliding. Himachal is an amazing spot to just stroll about and take in the scenery, whether you're travelling by bus, vehicle, motorcycle, jeep, or on foot. Every time you cross a pass into a different valley, you enter a new universe with its own culture, deities, and even language. The fairy-tale architecture and kind nature of the residents of the villages situated on precipitous mountains are charming. While backpacker hotspots entice with their blissed-out ambience and alpine scenery, hill stations entice with a vacation feel and colonial undertones.
Given the diversity of the Himachali mosaic, you could mistakenly believe that you have landed in Tibet while visiting McLeod Ganj, the centuries-old Buddhist cultural centre, and the Dalai Lama's temporary residence.
When you set off hiking at Triund, your adventure will start with a satisfying wave of excitement. The journey would next take you to McLeod Ganj, after which you would see Bir before you return to Delhi. The journey would ultimately come to an end in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, where there are plenty of natural views and hippy lanes to explore!
Join us on an excursion to backpack in Himachal Pradesh and experience the welcoming friendliness of the locals and the breathtaking natural wonders.
