By Air:
Himachal has three active domestic airports: Gaggal Airport in Kangra, Jubbarhatti airport close to Shimla, and Bhuntar Airport close to Manali. Any of these airports may be reached by aircraft from Delhi with ease. Flying to Himachal reduces the distance travelled by more than half, making the transition quick and comfortable. Chandigarh and Delhi both have international airports that are close to Himachal.
By Road:
From Delhi's Kashmere Gate ISBT, Majnu Ka Teela and Anand Vihar ISBT, private buses and HRTC buses provide overnight trips to Himachal of 8 to 18 hours. The buses transport you directly to the major Himachal locations, including Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, Aut, and Bhuntar, among others. You may hire a cab or board a local bus from here to get to your selected locations in Himachal Pradesh. Around 20 national roads, including NH-1A, link Himachal to several Indian cities and towns.
By Rail:
There are very few train connections in Himachal because of the steep terrain. A crucial rail link that runs from Pathankot in Punjab to Jogindernagar in Himachal is the Kangra Valley Railway. To go to their desired location from here, one might take a local bus or rent a cab.
Rail Motor Car (14 passengers), Shimla Express, Himalayan Queen, Shimla Kalka Passenger, and Shivalik Deluxe Express are additional trains that run along the Kalka-Shimla line.
