With its vast deserts and sand dunes, the Land of Kings is frequently thought of as having an arid climate, but its rich culture, colorful houses painted in blue, pink, and gold, the tribal clothing that includes mirror-adorned ghagra cholis, and folk dance and music breathe the spirit of an eternal spring into this majestic land.
Rajasthan is the largest state in our nation, making it nearly impossible to visit every street that is filled with lore about courageous kings and fearless queens. However, to ensure that you get to sample all the flavors of Rajasthan, we have put together the best backpacking trip to Rajasthan from Delhi.
On this trip, we'll visit three former princely states that, in the Middle Ages, served as the cornerstone of Rajputana and are still the top three tourist destinations in Rajasthan today.
We are giving you the opportunity to travel to Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer all in one trip with this Rajasthan vacation package.
Our first visit would be the "City of Lakes," sometimes referred to as the "White City" because to the usage of ivory marble in its historic forts and palaces, as well as other white-colored structures around the state.
The city palace, Lake Pichola, Sajjangarh Fort, as well as other top Udaipur attractions, are all included on your itinerary. You'll also get to explore the neighborhood market, where you can buy a bandhani-print sari, ethnic silver jewellery, handcrafted juttis, and real Rajasthani food.
Before travelling on to Jodhpur, our next stop, we will explore "The Venice of the East," the Kumbhalgarh fort, and the Haldighati museum.
Jodhpur, the second-largest city in Rajasthan, has been inhabited since 1459 AD, and its nickname, "The Blue City," is apt given that the majority of its forts, temples, and palaces are decorated in a vivid shade of blue. It is particularly well-known for the rare Marwari or Malani horses, which are unique to this region.
You just must visit the places we have hand-selected as being the most intriguing while in Jodhpur. We make sure that you get the most out of this trip by taking you to the magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace, the famed Mehrangarh Fort, which Rajput monarch Rao Jodha built in 1459, as well as a heritage tour to Jaswant Thada, which is lighted when sunlight strikes it.
After spending the entire day enjoying enjoyable activities like a desert safari and camel rides, our final stop would be "The Golden City," where you will have the time of your life watching a cultural performance by Rajasthani folk groups as you sit under the starry night sky in the desert where we set up camp.
Rajasthan tourism is well known for its cultural diversity, and the best part is that this lovely state has something to offer for everyone. From paintings on walls to intricate designs on jharokha of palaces, art lovers will delight in the kaleidoscope of colours that Rajasthan offers in every corner. Aficionados of history would be drawn to the palaces and forts.
You should visit Rajasthan because of its historical importance, ancient customs, and diverse culture. The future? Perhaps looking into it will give you more motivation to return.
